Will be meeting this Tuesday, August 28th starting at 9:30 AM. Come to help with ripping and rolling bandages for missions or putting the finishing ties on our latest quilt. We can also use help in planning our next quilt. We’ll be sharing a potluck lunch and enjoying a time of fellowship.
Our Food Shelf is in need of re-stocking! Please consider bringing a non-perishable item (or two) each Sunday and placing them on the “cart” inside the Kitchen door.
Two dates have been scheduled for get-togethers for women. Both are after church on Sundays and will include lunch. On Sunday, October 7 we will enjoy getting to know each other while playing Bunco. On Sunday, January 13 we will enjoy a special speaker. (Please note this change of date from what was previously announced.)
For Women: “What Matters Most”, a 7—week video series based on the book of Philippians meets at 6:30 PM. The world is full of trials, disappointments, temptations, fractured friendships and financial hardships. We are in need of or uplifting, encouraging children’s books and DVD movies as well as adult Christian books and movies to put in “The “Little Library”. If we don’t add more books/movies, the neighborhood stops looking for new material. We used to get prayer requests every week, but since we have no new books and movies to offer, our “Little Library” is not being utilized. Please consider picking up books…Keep Reading

Join us for our annual outdoor service on Sunday September 9! Bring a chair if you’d like, and make sure to stick around for some lunch! The Church will provide burgers, brats and hotdogs Serving Team 3 will provide dessert Remaining congregation to bring salads (potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salads or lettuce salads etc) Come one, come all and bring a friend!

Don’t forget to support your church by purchasing SCRIP. We have gift cards for you to give for your gift giving. Remember you can easily purchase gas cards and Cub Foods cards for your own weekly use. Our church has already earned thousands of dollars by members simply using scrip cards. Please remember to purchase scrip to support your church as you shop or pay bills.
