JESUS SAID: - 41 for whosoever shall “give you a cup of water to drink in my name”,………… verily I say unto you, “he shall not lose his reward”(Mark 9:41)“ “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD”, and “he will reward them for what they have done”. (Proverbs 19:17) Dear Steve Thompson Senior Pastor & Church Leaders of GOD, Greetings to you, family, staff, and elders/board members of Anoka Covenant Church in the most precious and highest name of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, the only SAVIOR of the sinners CAME to this world and suffered painfully to win our souls and washed all our sins from our unrighteousness of mind, body, and soul. By faith and hope in His Name, we are witnessing in and around the society in our country. Praise and honor to His eternal Name today and forever more. AMEN We are from India in the state of Orissa (Odisha). We use Odiya language in our community and our congregations speak Odiya and Telugu. The Sunday services are attended by the two groups of people who speak two languages. It is a great joy in presence of God singing, praising and worshiping in three languages that are Odiya, Telugu, and Hindi. We translate the Word of God while it is preached to the congregation. God’s blessings to the believers are seen in each person. We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for choosing and inviting us into His eternal Kingdom. The Fellowship was started, by late Rev. Sobulon Limma who was a medical physician in the State government of Orissa. He was persuaded by his late father for the full-time ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. At that time he was not at all willing to work for God. But while he was in that medical job, he meets two dangerous accidents; while he was traveling in the bus from his job station towards his residence place the bus was fallen from the mountain into the lowest rocky forest of that area and the passengers are critically wounded some of their hands, legs and heads were broken and everyone looking at each other’s faces and trying to help each other and their clothes are covered with blood. The situation at that place was horrible. But God remembered him and his family and graciously preserved him without any physical harm and mercifully saved from that tragedy. Soon he determined that this the turning point to serve in God’s mission and resigned his medical job and was lead with his family to pursue Four years of religious study at Andhra Christian Theological College at Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh state India. After completion of his theological education, he worked in EVERY HOME CRUSADE later the Lord guided him to the present place and he worked hard to win souls for Christ. From the year 1971 God used him by special anointing with wisdom and knowledge and people from this operational area heard the good news of JESUS CHRIST and turned from idol worship towards living and loving God and became His eternal children. At the beginning only a handful of responses to the Gospel was gathered to worship the Lord in a cowshed and people are added to the congregation and was named as CHURCH IN TALPATRATIKIRA and was officially recognized and registered with the state and central government of India and his ministry among the society was well appreciated by local authorities and state government and he was the First Christian priest of western Orissa to receive two official marriage certificates by the Honorable Governor of Orissa State and also in the year 1985 Late Zail Sing The President of India recognizing the excellent work of social services among poor leprosy affected by the oldest and most neglected diseases and marginalized people was awarded a certificate to late Rev. Sobulon Limma at his Presidential Office. Later in the year 1992, God called him home to be with Him. The Elders of the Congregation had commissioned the leadership of responsibility to the eldest son of late Sobulon Limma to shepherd the church and overall ministry who has been assisting his father in Master’s services. Both of his elder and younger sons are capable of working in HIS vineyard and proved as dedicated personnel of the Lord, and being educated in theological colleges in India and trainees, are burdened for the souls and are fully involved in mission task, through preaching, teaching, film evangelism, and social works activities. They followed the footsteps of our Savior, who is being compassionate to meet people’s spiritual and physical needs. They planned to present the Good News in a biblical way among the poorest of the poor people in the operational communities and trying to share and care with available sources to the laborers those who are oppressed and working on daily wages; looking after the leprosy sick and bedridden aged beggars who are helpless crushed without food in the colonies that are isolated at far places no one cares them or looks upon them. Lepers are normally shunned by their own families, communities, and societies due to the contagious physical deformity and of stigma and do not associate with them. In Orissa state, Odiya communities avoid and overlook and don’t care the young or aged widows due to their cultural teachings and mythology of Hinduism. If any pastor or evangelist died, his widow and children are often left destitute without any concern. The church endeavors to help widows with special offerings each year, but so to say that our churches in this society are themselves poor with little means to give when assistance is needed; there are hundreds of uneducated poor orphan children from the leprosy colonies and from poor believer’s communities, parents unable to provide healthy foodstuff, uniforms, notebooks, and backpacks to enter into the school and youths that are less educated, unskilled and unmotivated are searching jobs but with less pay they do unfamiliar works and leads them to evil paths and became unemployed and great burden to their poor families. We, being God’s hands and feet with LOVE without underestimating and neglecting them be obedient to the great commission of the Lord, we are lovingly reaching all these neighbors without any discrimination in our heart. It is our commitment in the communities to make responsive with HIS ETERNAL GOSPEL, with the fundamental truths of the Word of God from our daily walk of life as a salt and light. It is the process of TEAM work within the body of Christ, to be a channel of change in their day to day lives and eradicating their darkest hours and trying to empower them with brighter hope in Jesus Christ. Working in rural places in India is a challenge for a large number of populations spread in the villages that are not reached with the Gospel. Christians are typically the poorest members of society in India, where the gospel is taking root among the low-caste populations. Though India is the world’s largest democracy, more than 300 million people in India still live below the poverty line. Most of the People who undergo difficulties in rural areas of our Country are neglected by the governments as well as big agencies that are well established at metro cities and they became big boss not knowing the situations and conditions of the grass root level. If God demands us to go and witness then we must be committed to the spirit of God and the word of JESUS CHRIST should be presented practically among these corners not with sweet words but with good deeds by the churches. Jesus Himself says in the Gospel of (Mathew 11: 4-6) to report to John about the ministries that were rendered to the people of that generation. Today we can say loudly that God has established HIS ETERNAL INSTRUMENTAL CHURCHES in every nation some are blessed with wealth to meet and build the poorest churches that are grounded among the poor Christian believers. Are we not able to do that? Yes, we can do it with the help of our Heavenly Father. We are praying earnestly, and with hopefully counting on you, to join with us in one accord to reach these people in this region; like a Compassion Samaritan Neighbor Ministry (Luke 10: 36-37). Honestly, we would like to ask you something that. You might have visited our country India But not this place. So do you have little time to come to this state? As the Lord God Almighty guides you, do that way and would you please like to readout this letter before your congregation or mission elders/board? Can there be room in your heart of compassion towards our neighbors? Let us establish long-lasting relationships to win “souls” for Christ? Prayerfully commit this matter to God. By trusting our Lord let us do good… (Psalm 37:3). Few of your family members, church members or close friends who may willing to join in this great task. The Church needs to train, equip and empower native rural leaders for Christian service. Helping hands and loving hearts from God’s people should extend act of kindness with the resources that God has blessed and filled their cups to supply for outreach—providing food for the hungry, clothes for the children, medicine for the sick, providing water wells to the needy villages, duplexes for aged sick, prayer halls and assisting rural Evangelist and pastors who are shepherding the poor labor believers’ communities. The urgent needs of the workers in the respective communities are overpowering and children’s homes for the orphan who lost parents. (Who lost one or both) due to prolonged sickness, sudden death on natural calamities or snakes bites and accidents on the roads or imprisonment on unproved false accusations that run trials years together in the courts. If we closely observe this condition mostly the children, are helpless, fatherless and oppressed sufferers due to the confinement of father or mother or (both) are left behind. By looking at their hardship and distress, on behalf of them we are interceding before you, but there was no one to help and support for these cause. It will be a highest regard and blessings to all of us over here, if you come to minister and strive to equip and empower with God’s Word to our grass root workers among the people, will truthfully make shaping their destiny unto eternity with the saving power of the Gospel. The true teaching will make their lives to grow, and bring change and fruitfulness in their respective communities for the advancement of the kingdom of God in the years to come. God’s blessings are upon you, use you and lead you, as you prayerfully move forward with concrete action plane, for implementing His firm Word in these least evangelized fields. It is a CALL from God. Let us make a difference in the lives of these needy communities by reaching every family with long-lasting impact in their lives in sharing Christ's love. (Proverb 3:27) “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in your power to act”. We share this information with you to understand that, the Lord has been telling me to write this letter to ask you for your commitment to work along with us to reach people groups of these needy places and to bring the other flocks into his Eternal Kingdom that people who will produce its fruit. The Words of Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of heaven is not yet been filled up with the souls, still there is a room, they were not yet headed the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST for repentance and to baptizing them in the name of FATHER, In the name of SON and in the name of HOLY SPIRIT. So let us be Obedient to the God’s ORDER =“GO” make “Disciples” (Jonah 1:2, 3:2 and Mathew 28:19). We believe that you and your church/mission members are well educated and well equipped with the Lord’s blessings and ready to be used in Masters Hand and willing to bring the transformation among the unreached people. Now, your commitment and requirement of personal presence are mostly needed by GOD. To be open, our hearts are dreadfully disturbed to see the rural evangelist and local lay leaders are crippled by not knowing the fundamental TRUTHS OF WORD. We are really burdened to feed their believers with prosperous Word of God. But they have no opportunities for religious education or training in these fields. In order to equip them well with the fundamental truths, there is no such kind of educational institutions available in this state to teach in their own local languages. At the same time, financial crises in the family are interrupting them very extremely. Therefore, we are prayerfully welcoming you, to our fellowship to know each other and work together for the future establishment of His Eternal Kingdom. Our Church method of work among the people is motivated by the scriptures “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. (Revelation 2:18-19) and through the ministry of Jesus, who was sent by God into the world “…not to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17) the people of this area desperately need of your participation on this process but there is none that does good for them nor taking into heart so seriously to fulfill these needs. “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God”. (Proverbs 14:31) Please do share our love and warm wishes to members of your family, staff, elders/board members and congregation. Whatever may be we need your intervention of unshakeable commitment to the dignity of people and ask you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to pray, plan, prepare, proceed, and plant a seed to grow forever more. Your friendship and fellowship with us will bring eternal credit in heaven. We thank you very much for your love and kindness for upholding us in your prayers before God. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU ON TIME. “Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered”. (Proverbs 21:13). Let us not say with one consent of excuse and bypassing another way of answering this letter. But it is up to you to handle the task before you. We invite YOU to organize short-term mission or long-term to bring different knowledge and culture to rural communities in order to help with communities’ development and the connection of community residents in Orissa state India God’s peace, grace and eternal blessings of His favor ever abide with you today and forever. Amen. Your co-laborer In Christ. Pastor S. P. Limma CHURCH IN TALPATRATIKIRA PO. SARANDA, ATTABIRA-768027 BARGARH DIST, ORISSA STATE, INDIA; Cell No. +919437355944 Email: pastorsplimma@rediffmail.com "And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me” (Matthew 25:40) “Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” (Galatians 6:10) Ps : Would you please provide us in this month, with Blessings of Christmas Gifts of food, blankets and winter clothes for beggars among whom we are working to share and you will see the pictures of the work that verifies the physical activities of Advancing the Kingdom of God among the people that God has been glorified and honored through all of us.
