There are several small groups meeting periodically. Newcomers are welcome to visit or join all groups. To find out about attending or joining a group, contact the following people:
Sunday evenings Paul Baertschi: contact Paul at 763-245-3870. This group meets at either the Baertschi home in Andover or the Nelson home in Dayton and is for couples and singles. The group meets from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every other Sunday.
Tuesday mornings: Sharon Gillesby. Contact Sharon at 763-274-2377. Beginning in January, 2014, this group will be meeting at the church on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 10:00 to Noon. Open to all women.
Wednesday mornings. This group is led by Pastor Rick Krasky from 10:30 to Noon at the Church, then often goes out for lunch. Currently studying the book of James. All are welcome. Contact Pastor Rick at 612-501-1804.
Thursday evenings. Contact Priscilla Olson at 763-753-1581.This group meets every other Thursday at the Mathis home in Andover. Don Mathis leads the group, which is currently doing a video and workbook study called Authentic/Developing the Disciplines of a Sincere Faith by James MacDonald.Open to all.
Friday mornings. Guy Winters. Call Guy at 612-965-4071. A few good men meet at a Hardy’s or other location bright and early at 6:30 a.m.
Saturday mornings. Anoka Covenant has made its facilities available for Rev. Dave Hephl, who leads a group called “The Vision”. Meets at 9:45 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. It begins at 9:45 a. It is a study on the Biblical background of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. The Big Book for AA was foundationally based on the Bible, especially the Book Of James. There are shared testimonies and mutual encouragement, especially encouragement for sobriety. This study runs continuously throughout the year.
Sunday mornings: Kim Johnson. Meets in the Conference Room across from the Nursury from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Open to all. Beginning in January, the class will meet at 8:45 A.M. on Sunday mornings.
